An FCC Registration Number (FRN) is required before examination.
If you wish to conduct business with the FCC, you must first register through the FCC's Commission Registration System (CORES).
After registering you will be assigned a FCC Registration Number (FRN),
which will uniquely identify you in all transactions with the FCC. Other than the initial registration process to receive your FRN,
you will not have to disclose your Social Security Account Number (SSAN) again.

Bring your FRN number with you to the test session. When you fill out the NCVEC Form 605, put your FRN number in the block where it asks for it.
